Meet Our Team
Since 2006, we have been an Istanbul-based, award-winning, multidisciplinary production crew. With a passion for innovative storytelling and cinematic excellence, we collaborate with projects and people to make the world more aesthetic.
He was born in 1988, in Istanbul. He graduated from the department of administration at Kutahya Dumlupinar and Eskisehir Anadolu University. He started his career in cinema by assisting the scenario for the movie “Ask Geliyorum Demez” that is made by Murat Seker. In 2010, he wrote the dialogues for “Cakallarla Dans”. He took in charge of writing the scenario by Murat Seker for the movies “Cakallarla Dans 2-Hastasiyiz Dede” in 2012, “Cakallarla Dans 3- Sifir Sikinti” in 2014, “Deliorman” and “Cakallarla Dans 4” in 2016, and “Gorevimiz Tatil” in 2018. Also, in 2015, based on being the 100th year of Turkish Film Industry, he wrote the scenario for the short film “Mutlu Son” as part of IKSV.
He was born on July 25,1973 in Istanbul. At 1991, he started to study at Istanbul University, faculty of Economics. After studying 3 years, he moved to the deparment of Cinema and Television Arts in Mimar Sinan University. Since 1992, he started to work as a person in charge of production in documantaries and movies. Osman Seden, Yusuf Kurcenli, and Huseyin Karakas are some directors he worked with. After running clubs like Magma, and Milk, he established Limonlu Bahce and Mono in Beyoglu.
In 1996, he shot “-1”,which is his first short film. After that, he worked on video clips for Turkish rock and pop musics. Also, he started to making critics about electronic and alternative music on newspapers like Milliyet, Radikal, and magazines like Max, and Roll.
At 2004, he found the film company “SugarWorkz”. His first feature lenght film is “2 Super Film Birden” which was shot in 2006. After the movies “Ask Tutulması” and “Ask Geliyorum Demez”, he accomplish to shot the films “Cakallarla Dans”, and “Deliorman” which became series. Lastly, he shot the film “Gorevimiz Tatil”, which came out in February 2018, and now he continues to shooting movies.
After completing her education in Radio-Television Arts, at Akademi Istanbul, she worked as an assistant of the department production and management at Number One Tv. She proceeded her career at Pi Film Production company as assistant of production, and during 2005, she worked as production assistant at Kanal D.
She is now working with the projects at SugarWorkz family as general coordinator.
She graduated from the Cinema and Television Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2024. During her studies, she directed short documentary and fiction projects. She gained on-set experience as an assistant director in television series and commercial productions. She currently works in the field of production, with a particular focus on international content acquisitions. Since 2023, she has been working with the Sugarworkz production team.
Between 2015 and 2019, she studied cinema at the Cinema and Television Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. As part of the curriculum, she directed three short films titled Sandık, Görünmeyen Koleksiyon, and Bekle Beni, and worked extensively in film archiving practices conducted by the Prof. Sami Şekeroğlu Cinema-TV Center. She took part in the classification of the Center’s non-film visual materials collection, the digitization of its analog video archive, and numerous digital film restoration projects.
In 2019, she began her graduate studies in the Cinema and Television Department, focusing on the preservation of film heritage through digital technologies. During her studies, she worked as a project assistant and wrote articles for the cinema column of Kazan Kültür magazine. Her short stories titled Turne, Kaderin Kırmızı İpi, Ses, and Gündüz Düşü were published in various literary magazines.
After completing her master’s degree in 2023, she joined Sugarworkz. She served as the screenwriter for the vertical series projects L&M and Ev Arkadaşı, and as both screenwriter and director of the vertical series Yeniden Başla. Alongside her role as a production assistant at Sugarworkz, she continues to work as a script assistant on various projects.
